Year-End Review of On-Going GIA Researches

The year-end review of on-going GIA researches was conducted on December 14,2010 at the BUGASS Conference Room, Bicol University, Legazpi City. This activity aims not only to present the status of the on-going activity but also to discuss administrative and financial issues and concerns of GIA-funded researches. Eight on-going researches were presented during the said activity. The presenters and title of papers are as follows:

ZRC/PCI Director's Meeting and Christmas Party

ZRC/ PCI Director's Meeting was held at CHED Main Office, Diliman, Quezon City on December 15,2010. Presentation of ZRC Accomplishment for 2010 and other matters were discuss during the said meeting then ZRC Christmas Party was enjoy by the staff.

Proponent Meets Mentor

CHED-BU Zonal Research Center conducted a meeting for the proponent and mentor of the endorsed GIA funded proposal at the BU-GASS Conference Room last October 1, 2010. The objective of this activity is to help the proponent revised their proposal for approval to CHED. Selected mentor of each proposal were qualified enough to share their expertise along.

Deadline for the submission of the revised proposal is on October 25, 2010 to give them ample time.

CHED-BU Zonal Research Center Staff were always willing to facilitate the HEIs covered to enhance their research capability.

Monitoring of GIA-funded researches

The staff of CHED-BU Zonal Research Center monitored eight GIA-funded researches last December 2010. This is to check the progress of the researches and to evaluate if they are following their workplan.
